The Latest News and Happenings at Echo Ridge

Scroll down this page for news, updates, and some interesting stuff!

We have made it, and another season is "in the books".  From the first warm days of Spring, until our last day of operation on a chilly October 24 (+2 degrees and snow, when some resourceful golfers taught us how to use a roll of clear plastic wrap stretched between the front roof supports on a power cart to make a windshield/wind-break!!), we enjoyed it all.  We hope your season has provided memories of good times spent with friends and family golfing Echo Ridge.

When we began the season back in April, we were unsure of what we would be facing.  We knew that there would be many challenges in our "Covid World".  Our first concern with all of the decisions was the safety and welfare of our clients and staff.  We followed all of the directives as they were handed down, and we would have to say that they served us well.  We did not lose any days of operation, nor did we experience any outbreaks.  We worked very hard at this, but none of it would have been possible without the cooperation of our golfers...you are all rockstars!  Thank you so much for all of your efforts, they are so much appreciated.

It is always hard to end a season, as we thoroughly enjoy our time spent with our golfers.  Instead of an end, it is really a beginning, as we have already begun work on the 2022 season.  We are excited for the new season, and we hope that you will all be with us for the ride.

In the meantime, we wish everyone the best.  Thank you all for your support.  Take care, stay safe, and we will see each other again very soon!

Things to ponder...

  • According to industry statistics, only 20% of golfers have handicaps of less than 18!
  • The odds of having 2 holes-in-one during a single round is 1 in 67 million (so...you're saying I have a chance?)

One last thought...

We are so fortunate to participate in a sport that has been there for us throughout the pandemic.  Most sports have suffered restrictions and in many cases closures.  Let's all make sure to get out on the course, enjoy the experience, and above all, let's treat each other with kindness and patience.  Now, would it be too much to ask for me to hit a fairway with my drive once in a while?????
