Pro Shop Attendant
The Pro Shop Attendant reports directly to the Manager and Owners and is responsible for greeting customers as they register to play golf. The Pro Shop Attendant collects green fees, rental fees, annual dues, sells snacks and beverages; is responsible for the cleanliness of the Pro Shop; and is responsible for the availability and cleanliness of rental carts.
This position requires the ability to work early shifts (beginning at 6:30 AM) or late shifts (ending at approximately 9:00 PM) on weekdays as well as weekends.
Typical Functions
The Pro Shop Attendant:
- Answers and directs all incoming calls, takes messages when appropriate.
- Greets and directs all visitors.
- Informs customers on course conditions
- Readies power carts for rental to customers.
- Maintains a constant presence in the pro shop.
- Keeps inventory items stocked.
- Keeps common areas clean and disinfected as per Public Health requirements.
- Empties trash from power carts, cleans, sanitizes, and readies cart for next users.
- Monitors flow of on-course golf traffic.
- Assists in all other related functions to ensure the smooth operation of the course.

Restaurant Line Cook
The Line Cook reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and Owners and is responsible for preparing food and providing exceptional customer service.
Working from an established menu, the Line Cook functions as a team member, promptly preparing food orders to be delivered to customers quickly and efficiently by the Food and Beverage staff. All kitchen staff members are responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen and food storage areas.
This position requires the ability to work early shifts (beginning at 7:30 AM) or late shifts (ending at approximately 9:00 PM) on weekdays as well as weekends. Hours can be dependent upon the weather, as the course may send employees home when weather prevents golf play.
Both full, and part-time positions are available.
Typical Functions
The Line Cook:
- Functions as a team member, working closely with our front of house staff.
- Completes food orders on time, keeping wastage to a minimum, while following recipes and presentation specifications.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Performs other kitchen duties, including special projects, as needed, and directed.
- Performs all duties in compliance with Public Health Guidelines

Restaurant Prep Cook
The Prep Cook reports directly to the Kitchen Manager, the Line Cook, and Owners and is responsible for assisting in the preparation of food and providing exceptional customer service.
Working under supervision, the Prep Cook functions as a team member, assisting with food orders to be delivered to customers quickly and efficiently by the Food and Beverage staff. All kitchen staff members are responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen and food storage areas.
This position requires the ability to work early shifts (beginning at 7:30 AM) or late shifts (ending at approximately 9:00 PM) on weekdays as well as weekends.
Typical Functions
The Prep Cook:
- Functions as a team member, working closely with other kitchen and front of house staff.
- Prepares and manages prep recipes
- Provides support in all areas of the kitchen
- Helps to complete food orders on time, keeping wastage to a minimum, while following recipes and presentation specifications.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Performs other kitchen duties, including special projects, as needed, and directed.
- Performs all duties in compliance with Public Health guidelines

Food and Beverage Server
The Food and Beverage Server reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and Owners and is responsible for taking orders from and serving food and beverages to guests, checking on their satisfaction, taking payment for services, and providing exceptional customer service.
The Server will develop knowledge of service techniques, food and beverage product and practices for responsible alcohol service. The Server works with a degree of independence and is responsible for making decisions requiring sound judgement with an overall aim of exceptional customer service.
This position requires the ability to work early shifts (beginning at 7:30 AM) or late shifts (ending at approximately 9:00 PM) on weekdays as well as weekends.
Typical Functions
The Food and Beverage Server:
- Functions as a team member, working closely with our kitchen staff.
- Takes and relays food orders and prepares beverages.
- Uses proper serving techniques.
- Provides food and beverage product knowledge.
- Practices responsible alcohol service.
- Checks on guest satisfaction.
- Maintains a clean and safe facility by vacuuming, cleaning, and sanitizing the food service areas and washrooms providing an appealing environment for guests and staff.
- Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed, and directed.
- Performs all duties in compliance with Public Health guidelines.
Employment Standards
- Completion of the Sask. Tourism Education Council “Serve It Right” certification program for the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Echo Ridge will provide funding for all training expenses.

Course Maintenance Worker
The Course Maintenance Worker reports directly to the Greens Superintendent and Owners and is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the golf grounds. The worker performs various manual tasks; is responsible for the care of equipment and tools; and cleanliness of work spaces.
This position requires the ability to work early shifts (beginning at 6:30 AM) on weekdays as well as limited weekend shifts.
Typical Functions
The Course Maintenance Worker:
- Performs daily maintenance of the golf course under the supervision and direction of the Greens Superintendent.
- Operation of mowers, hand tools, and other grounds maintenance equipment in accordance with on-the-job-training.
- Assists in all other related functions to ensure the smooth operation of the course.
